CHIGEE Philippines didn’t just show up at Makina Moto Expo 2026 they came with something new. At the Philippines’ biggest motorcycle gathering, which celebrated its 10th anniversary at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City from April 10 to 12, the local distributor of CHIGEE’s smart riding systems brought their most complete lineup yet, headlined by the local unveiling of the SR-1 Smart Radar System a product that signals a clear direction for where CHIGEE’s ecosystem is heading.

The Main Event: SR-1 Smart Radar System Makes Its Philippine Debut

The biggest announcement from the CHIGEE PH booth was the SR-1, described as the latest addition to the CHIGEE Smart Riding Ecosystem. It’s not a navigation display and it’s not a dashcam it’s a purpose-built, motorcycle-specific 77GHz millimeter-wave radar system designed to watch the road behind you so you don’t have to.

The SR-1 covers up to 70 meters of detection range and operates across four active warning modes:

  • Blind Spot Detection (BSD) — activates above 10 km/h and monitors the blind zones on both sides, delivering visual and audible alerts before a lane change
  • Active Overtake Alert (AOA) — after you pass a vehicle, it checks whether the lane is clear before you merge back
  • Lane Change Assist (LCA) — dynamically adjusts alert timing based on your current speed and the relative approach speed of nearby vehicles
  • Rear Collision Warning (RCW) — triggers immediately when a vehicle is closing in fast from behind, giving you earlier reaction time

What makes the SR-1 stand out beyond the detection itself is the integrated high-brightness strobe light built directly into the radar module. When a fast-approaching vehicle is detected from behind, the strobe activates automatically warning the vehicle behind you, not just the rider. That dual-direction approach to safety is a meaningful design choice for riders navigating Philippine traffic.

CHIGEE SR-1 is a 77GHz rear radar for motorcycles with blind spot alerts, collision warnings, and smart safety strobe system.

The system runs as a standalone unit with no dependency on a display, but when connected to a compatible CHIGEE display like the AIO-6, it feeds real-time radar data directly onto the screen for added situational awareness. Alert sensitivity, activation threshold, and warning intensity are all adjustable via a compatible Chigee display or the mobile app. And since the SR-1 supports Bluetooth OTA updates, the detection logic can improve over time as CHIGEE refines it.

Optional Side Mirrors: The SR-1 Ecosystem Expands

Alongside the SR-1 radar unit, CHIGEE PH also showcased the optional SR-1 side mirrors available in standard and round profiles that pair directly with the SR-1 CG Radar module. The mirrors integrate cleanly into the system, with the radar and mirror functioning as a cohesive unit rather than separate bolt-ons. Riders can choose to go with just the radar (paired with an indicator light) or take the full bundle with mirrors for a more integrated setup.

CHIGEE SR-1 radar pairs with smart mirrors for an integrated safety setup, with PH pricing starting at ₱11,500.

Pricing in the Philippines starts at ₱11,500 for the SR-1 Radar + Indicator Light, going up to ₱14,500 for the mirrors-only variants, and ₱24,500 for the full radar + standard mirror bundle.

AIO-6 LTE and AIO-5 Evo: The Core Lineup on Full Display

The SR-1 may have been the headline, but the booth also gave attendees hands-on time with CHIGEE’s established flagship products.

The AIO-6 LTE was front and center a 6-inch, 2,300-nit ultra-bright display running CHIGEE OS 2 on a dual-core A53 processor, with 4G connectivity that adds real-time GPS tracking, SOS alerts, and remote monitoring on top of the full CarPlay/Android Auto mirroring experience. The 4G capability in particular is a differentiator for riders doing longer trips or touring solo, where passive connectivity becomes a genuine safety consideration.

CHIGEE AIO-6 LTE brings a 6-inch ultra-bright display, 4G tracking, SOS alerts, and full CarPlay/Android Auto for safer rides.

The AIO-5 Evo rounded out the display, showing off its dual 1080p cameras, IP69K weatherproofing, and the same wireless mirroring that the AIO-5 lineup has been known for but in a more refined, daily-riding-optimized package. For riders who covered the CHIGEE 2024 debut at Makina where the AIO-5 Lite survived a multi-day underwater test inside a fish tank, the Evo represents the natural evolution of that platform.

CHIGEE AIO-5 Evo offers dual 1080p cams and rugged IP69K build, while AIO-6 LTE steps up with a bigger, smarter display.

Having both products live on the floor gave attendees the full context to understand where each unit fits the AIO-5 Evo as the accessible, well-rounded daily rider option, and the AIO-6 LTE as the step-up for riders who want a bigger screen, LTE connectivity, and a more modular ecosystem.

The Bigger Picture

Makina 2026 drew close to 78,000 attendees over three days, making it the most-attended edition of the show to date. For CHIGEE PH, the timing couldn’t have been better. The SR-1’s local unveiling at an event of that scale alongside live demonstrations of the AIO-6 LTE and AIO-5 Evo positions CHIGEE as more than just a dashcam brand in the Philippine market. The SR-1 pushes the product story firmly into active rider safety.

Two years after making their splash debut at Makina 2024 with the underwater AIO-5 Lite demonstration, CHIGEE Philippines has grown the lineup considerably. The SR-1 is the clearest sign yet that the brand is building toward a full connected-riding ecosystem here in the Philippines one product at a time.
